Welcome
to my website.
I am a professional sound
recordist living in London and working in
television, film and commercials/corporate.
I have had over ten years experience
as a recordist with the BBC Film Unit based at
Ealing Studios in West London. I went freelance
in 1998 and since then I have done work for a
wide variety of TV companies and corporate
clients.

Other
skills: I can ski (and record at the
same time) and I read music.
I am also fully trained in the use of DV cameras
and have done some second-unit shooting and
simple lit interview situations. |
| |
I
have been described as quietly
professional and I like to think of myself
as someone who gets the job done with minimum
fuss, good humour and sensitivity towards
contributors/presenters/actors.
I enjoy travelling and have worked in over 25
countries around the world. In particular, I have
worked a lot in France and speak the language
reasonably well.
|
Transport: I have a
Renault Espace which will take four/five people
plus equipment in air-conditioned comfort. I have
often taken it across to Europe on filming
assignments and can quote an all-inclusive rate. E-mail me for rate
information.

| |
Credits: My
programme credits range from major drama and
documentaries to language series and childrens
programmes. See my CV page for recent
credits. |

|
| |
Music: Music is a
particular interest of mine. I play the piano and
sing in a choir called the London Chorus. I have
for some years been lucky enough to do a great
variety of music recording for both TV and radio.
Details are on my CV page. |
