66. Charles BARRITT was born on 7 Apr 1807. He died on 6 Oct 1872 in Layer Breton Friends burial ground. He resided Layer Marney, The Dukes Spring of 1837. He was married to Maria CARTER 29 Sep 1831 1st wife in Friend's Meeting House, Plaistow, Essex.

67. Maria CARTER was born on 9 Sep 1807. She died on 31 Jul 1849 in Buried at Colchester. Children were:

ii. Charles James BARRITT was born on 9 Dec 1834. He died on 1 May 1875 in or was it 1874. He resided Copford Green, farmer 1854 approx. He was unmarried.
iii. Henry BARRITT was born on 4 Nov 1835. He was Colchester chemist in 1859 in Godalming Surrey. He died on 17 Aug 1897 in Friends cemetery Colchester.
iv. Walter BARRITT was born on 15 Aug 1837 in Layer Marney, Essex. He resided Aldham Hall in 1862. He was a Farmer of 905 acres 26 men 8 boys in 1881 in Layer Marney, Essex. He was Henry Pryor cousin of EMB in 1892. He died in 1916.
v. Lucy BARRITT was born 1841/03/25. She was to give up farm Prestic!? Hall 1891 September. She was at Tiptree, nr Kelvedon visited by EMB 1905 summer. She died.
vi. Anna BARRITT was born on 12 May 1842. She was Arthur and Mary to Ackworth School in 1887. She was Ann husband Charles, Matthew, Margaret to King Williams Town Cape Colony on 25 Oct 1887. She was wrote to EMB, journal p 103 in 1890. She was back home with 3 of their children p122 on 9 Apr 1892.
vii. Emily BARRITT died in 1845. She was born on 21 Oct 1845. She died on 17 Aug 1846 in Colchester, mother buried next to. She was died in childhood.
viii. Alice BARRITT was born on 30 Sep 1845. She died on 8 Oct 1885 in Chipping Norton FMH. She was EMB visited sick sister at Chastleton (Hill?) 1885 April. She was Emb's favourite sister.
