Saturday 10th June 2006, saw our Football
Fun Day, held to coincide with England's first round match
against Paraguay.
Hundreds of local people passed through during the day, enjoying the fantastic weather.
The Salvation Army's Emergency Response vehicle was on hand to offer refreshments!
In addition to football related games, visitors enjoyed a wide variety of activities including archery.
Various Community Agencies were on hand to discuss local issues and provide information on community initiatives.
The Mayor and Mayoress
of Preston, Councillor Bill Tyson and Jacqueline Tyson
attended and were welcomed
The match was shown live on a giant screen
