Our
next event is at Hayley Green Wood on Sunday 1st November
between 10.30am and 3.30pm. We
will
be clearing rhododendron from around
the pond. Bring lunch if staying all day.

During
the year we have held Ancient Tree Hunts to survey for old trees in the
Warfield area.

Have you seen our new sign at Tescos
Warfield? The sign, on the wall at the front of the shop near the trolley bay
advertises what we do and our next
events.

This
year, we have helped Meadowbrook Montessori school run a litter picks. We also
support
Primary School by lending some of our litter pickers to the school
for the Eco-Group to do litter picking.
·
To
help us run further events like these, we applied to Berkshire Community
Foundation for a Grassroots
Grant to buy more litter picking equipment. We were
delighted to be awarded the grant, so we will soon be in
possession of more litter pickers and small trolleys. Many
thanks to BCF for their support.
