Introducing
Fragile
Performed
at the original Marquee Club regularly, 1981-84, as a member
of Fortune and made an appearance with the band at the
Reading Festival in 1983 (on the same bill as Marillion,
Black Sabbath, and Stevie Ray Vaughan). He was also
successful in Europe with an outfit called Sing Sing. Carney
was approached in 1983 to join Airrace (band of John
Bonham's son) and in 1984 to join Pallas but rejected both
offers. Co-wrote Fortune and Sing Sing material with Ben
Matthews now of the rock band Thunder. Read
Steve's full story... Worked
at length with 1980s cult band The Trudy, briefly with The
Cardiacs and was a founder member of Roger Shoe, described
as a cross between Frank Zappa and Gentle Giant! To find out
more about him you can Visit
Jon's Own Site. Worked
with Eric Burdon and the Animals for 4 years, also with
numerous blues rock artists. Mitch's story can be found
here. So
far has never featured in any "major" acts (apparently he is
an inveterate "backroom boy") but has the dubious
distinction of having dep'd with The Nolans! Read more about
Fragile's popular guitarist here. Fragile's
latest recruit is already a well-known talent in the scene
of Progressive music being the driving force behind the West
Country outfit Tantalus. Max also has a number of solo
projects on the go. You can find out more about him
here. Fragile's
Austro Hungarian guitarist has wide experience of playing
live and a love of the music. Trained in classical and jazz
styles he revels in the spotlight. There's more about Robert
on his own
page.
