More about Gonzalo

Gonzalo is very active both inside and out of Fragile these days performing with a catalogue of bands and artists . . . here we catch up with what he's been up to since moving to the UK!

December 1999 Gonzalo recorded a CD with the drummer Les Bintes who played on Roger Glover's (Deep Purple) solo album, Judas priest, Ray Gomer and Steve Lukather. Les actually saw Gonzalo's first gig with Fragile at the Bull's head in Barnes and liked what he saw!

April 2000 Gigging with Tony Ciniglio (ex bass player for Cafe Racers and also played with Mark Knopfler). Through Tony Gonzalo met Huw Lloyd-Langton, guitarist for Hawkwind, Leo Sayer, Ginger Baker. Huw invited Gonzalo to join him for his regular Sunday night residency slot in West Kensington.

April 2001 Gigs with the Huw Lloyd-Langton group in South Wales. A new CD is planned by the end of the year with a line-up of;

Gonzalo also met Andy Thomas from South Wales who during the years has worked as keyboard programmer for the likes of Stevie Wonder, Stevie Winwood, David Bowie, keith Emerson, and Julio Inglesias. Andy and Gonzalo hope to write some progressive songs and do some gigs together.
