Fragile-lets get all the general stuff out of the way before we think about the cd. Having seen them live, I can honestly say that it's the nearest thing to Yes you will ever witness, shut your eyes and you really are at an early 70's Yes concert(well, for the most part, apart from a couple of later tracks) It's brilliant !!
Anyway, the CD ; Roundabout is excellent both musically and technically and leads very well into I've seen all good people. I thought this was more like Yes in every way until I heard Heart of the Sunrise (possibly one of my favourite ever Yes tracks). The bass beat is so like Chris Squire it's unbelievable, and Mitch's timing holds it all together superbly. Gonzalo is an absolute star - as always! Owner of a lonely Heart is probably my least favourite track on the album (but then I'm from a different era !), musically though, again it's great listening. The Medley, you have to hear to believe, I just wish we could have had another 20 minutes of Gates of Delirium as I think the band could have really gone to town!!
Starship Trooper is a great way to end and again brilliantly done. If you like tribute bands then you must listen to this cd, or better still, go and see them live, honestly, you really wont regret it.
