Perpetual Change - Thirty Years of Yes

Yes History

Chris Squire - Smoked Fish?
In "Yes History" David traces the history of Yes from the band's very roots beginning with Chris Squire and Jon Anderson who between them have probably done the most to keep the spirit of the band alive. This history is not intended to be an in-depth blow-by-blow account of the fine detail. That has been done before - and done well! Instead this history homes in on some of the lesser-known facts and trivia. It includes excerpts from exclusive interviews carried out by the author while researching the book.

It's a fresh account of how the legend of Yes was built over countless albums and tours. It describes the major trials and tribulations, the highs, the lows, the memorable and even of course the forgettable! Drawing on documentary, anecdotal and pictoral evidence this is a great potted history of the band's progress brought up to date right until the millenium year itself.

The voice of Yes!
The underlying principle behind the book is that it should allow you to relive all your favourite Yes memories and hopefully re-awaken some of those "long forgotten yesterdays". Yes History will remind you of the many moments that make up the history of this great band.
