Beside the Heritage
Centre is the Clock Warehouse family pub. Housed in a restored warehouse
built by the canal company in 1780, the pub provides a wide range of meals
with a special children's menu, a non smoking area, a children's playroom
and lovely views through the willow trees over the canal lock and basin.
On the opposite side
of the basin in a former Salt Warehouse, and with an entrance from the
canal towpath, is the Canal Bank Tearoom.
