| Having learned to ski over thirty years ago and returned almost every year since our favourite places remain Les Contamines Montjoie and Combloux. Below are two photographs taken at the top of Flaine after emerging from the Telepherique des Grandes Platieres at 2480 metres.To the left is a view towards the massif of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. Next to it is the beginning of the Serpentine piste which winds across the mountain, dropping almost 1000 metres, back into Flaine. |
