Adult General Psychiatry
Major and minor general adult psychological difficulties including stress, emotional problems, depression and mood disturbance, anxiety states, alcohol dependence and occupational problems.
Family Psychiatry
Adults - Marital
and relationship problems, severe parenting / family organisational problems.
Minor mental illness and psychological problems in family
members.
Young Adults - Emotional / conduct issues, mood disturbance, overanxious
disorder, adjustment disorders, self harm, alcohol and substance difficulties.
Occupational Health Psychiatry
Dr Howells is available to undertake the assessment and management of psychological problems in the employees of major companies and organisations.
Psychological Therapies
The practice is able to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Cognitive Therapy (BCT), Problem Solving Therapy (PST), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) , and other psychological therapies.
