Chapter Eight
8.2-3
A man with a terrible skin disease once came along. He bowed low to Jesus and said, "Sir,
you can cleanse me if you want to." So Jesus held out his hand to
touch him and said, "I want it! You're clean." The man's disease
disappeared at once.
8.14-15
Jesus one day spotted that Peter's mother-in-law was in bed with a
fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her. She got up and looked
after his needs.
8.20 & 22
Jesus said, "Jackals have their
dens and the birds their nests, but this man has nowhere to lay his
head."
And also, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their
own dead."
