The Good News According to Matthew:
Chapter Four

4.1,2
Jesus was guided into the barren lands by the spirit where he fasted until he was very hungry.

4.12, 18-22, 23
Jesus went off to Galilee when he heard that John the Baptiser had been imprisoned. There he was walking one day by the Sea of Galilee when he saw two brothers. One was Simon, otherwise known as Peter. The other was Andrew. They were fishermen and were busy casting their net into the sea. Jesus said to them, "Become my followers and I'll train you to fish for people." They left their nets without delay and followed him.

Near the same spot he one day saw two other brothers, James and John. They were in a boat with Zebedee their father and were mending their nets. Jesus called them and they left the boat and their father without delay and followed him.

Jesus wandered around Galilee, speaking out in the synagogues and proclaiming his message about the way God acts.
