The Good News According to Mark:
Chapters Fourteen & Fifteen

14.43, 46, 50
Suddenly, while Jesus was still speaking [on the Hill of Olives], Judas - one of the twelve Apostles - came along. With him was a group of people wielding swords and clubs. They grabbed Jesus and held him tight. His friends all deserted him and ran away. The people took Jesus to appear before the High Priest.

15.1-2, 15
At daybreak and without delay the senior priests had Jesus bound and led away. They turned him over to Pilate, the Roman governor. He asked Jesus if he was the "King of the Judeans" and then had him thrashed and handed him over to be crucified.

15.22, 24, 26
The Roman soldiers took him to the place called "The Skull" and crucified him there. The official inscription of his crime read, "The King of the Judeans."
