Judas came along. With him was a crowd carrying swords and clubs.
They seized Jesus and held him tight. All his followers ran away.

Jesus was hauled before the High Priest.
It was reported by some that Jesus had said that he would destroy the
Temple and build another. 15.1-2,

At daybreak and without delay the senior priests had Jesus bound and
led away. They turned him over to Pilate, the Roman governor. He asked Jesus if he was the
"King of the Judeans" and then had him thrashed and handed him
over to be crucified. 15.22,

The Roman soldiers took him to the place called "The Skull" and crucified him there.
The official inscription of his crime read, "The King of the
