The Good News According to Luke
Chapter Twenty-one

21.1-4
Jesus looked up and saw wealthy men dropping their donations into the collection box. He also saw a needy widow putting in two small coins.

He said, "I'm telling you the truth! This poor widow has contributed more than anyone else. For they gave out of a surplus, while she gave out of what she had to live on - even though she was poor."

21.29-31
Jesus told them a parable: "Look at the fig tree - and all the trees. As soon as they bud you know that summer is coming. Similarly, when you see these things happening you can recognise that God's kingdom is about to come."
