The Good News According to John:
Chapter Four

4.46b-54
An Imperial official's son was sick in Capernaum. The father went to Jesus and asked him to go there to heal his son, who was at death's door. The official pleaded with him, "Sir, please come down with me before my son dies!"

Jesus said to him, "Go, your son will live."

The man trusted what Jesus said to him and went off. On his way home his servants met him and told him that the boy was alive and well.
