The Good News According to John:
Chapter Two
2.13
About then, the Jewish Passover was coming along, so Jesus went up to
Jerusalem.
And there he came across the money
brokers at their desks as well as people selling cattle, sheep and
pigeons. So he fashioned a whip out of light cords and drove all the
animals out of the temple - sheep, cattle and all. And he overturned the
brokers' desks, scattering their money. And he told off those who were
selling pigeons, saying, "Get them out of here!"
