Jesus went with his followers and crossed the Kidron stream to a garden where he and his followers used to go. Judas, who was going to betray him, knew the place because Jesus had gone there often.

So Judas and an armed crowd went there with their lights and torches. They arrested Jesus and handcuffed him and took him to Caiaphas, who was High Priest that year.

They then took Jesus from Caiaphas' palace to the residence of the Roman Governor.
