At the British Horse Society's Essex Annual Meeting on 30 Oct 07,
Dr Phil Wadey, Trustee and Regional Access Officer,
presented the Society's Awards. Carole Taylor was
one of the recipients. The Society is indebted to hundreds of
volunteers who give unstintingly of their time, energy and
expertise to furthering the care of horses in the areas of
welfare, training, education, safety, and access and rights of
way. The 'Good Guys' Award is given to those who have made a real difference
in the field of access and bridleways.

Carole Taylor has been consistently helpful to achieving bridleways on the definitive map.
She has made seven applications for bridleways, one of which resulted in a network of 4 routes.
She is often called by the County Council to give evidnece in support of bridleway status.
Her local knowledge is inexhaustible, and her research for historical information, unstoppable.
Carole is consistently helpful. Carole is one of the 'Good Guys'.
