The closure of Central Herts Consumer Group was formally agreed
on 1st March 2011. Minutes of the closure meeting are here.
I can now report that, as authorised by the closure meeting, the
Group's remaining funds have been donated to Consumer Advice locally -
about £493 has been paid to each of St Albans CAB and Welwyn
Hatfield CAB. This were unfortunately delayed by the illness
and death of our Treasurer, June Taunton. The final accounts
are being prepared and will be published on this site in due
course,
It is intended that Central Herts Consumer Group's archives, including a full set of
Trident magazine, will be deposited with Herts Archives and Local
History.
