Irish Music, lightly seasoned with R'n'B & Cajun

  Gino Lupari  & friends

To kickstart the show our old friend Gino Lupari will be here with a line up of guest musicians to get the adrenalin flowing with his unique blend of cajun fuelled Traditional Irish music and R'nB

Former frontman & bhodran player wth 4 Men & a Dog, Gino now fronts Beware of the Dog. Probably the best Irish Italian bhodran player in the World

6pm to 7pm

Storytelling

  Kate Corkery

For the entertainment of our younger guests:

Originally from Cork, Kate has enthralled audiences from the Cape Clearwater Storytelling Festival to The Barbican Centre with a wealth of Irish myths, legends and folk tales, often with bhodran accompaniment.

Pictured here with Jamaican Winston Nzinga with whom she sometimes performs as Spud & Yam

   7pm to 9pm

Traditional Irish Music

Brent Young Irish Musicians

To round the evening off, more old friends, (young old friends that is). This talented group of youngsters from North London are here again to keep us going with some excellent Traditional Music.

They didn't mention having a bhodran player, but you never know!

   All Day:

Food and Drink

 The Bread and Roses Staff

As usual the award winning Bread and Roses offers a wide range of beers, it is strongly rumoured that plentiful quantities of Guinness will be available, though you may like to try the unique Workers' Ale.

There will also be an excellent range of food available at reasonable prices, with vegetarians well catered for.

Sadly no bhodrans here.
