What is
L.A.R.A. ?
L.A.R.A. is a residents' association that has been going on since 1974.
It recieves a grant from Wandsworth Council and also undertakes its own
fundraising.
It's aims are to:

Run services for the residents of the area;

Speak on behalf of the neighbourhood on matters of local concern;
-
Encourage community spirit and cooperation;
-
Continuously review L.A.R.A.'s provision and reach out to more people.

does L.A.R.A. do ?
It maintains a community centre from which it provides:

A wide range of services and activities for people in the area;

Services for under fives, school age children and young people;

Provision for senior citizens;

Advice sessions and surgeries;

A chance to have a say in local affairs;

An opportunity to meet other people and take part in events.
