About the Yateley & Farnborough Link

Our link consists of several families living in Farnborough, Hampshire or its immediate area. We support the aims of the charity and raise sufficient funds to pay for the airfare to bring children from Belarus to our area where they stay with us for a period of four weeks respite. While the children are with us, thanks to our supporters, we arrange visits to local attractions and entertainments for their enjoyment and we also collect for clothes, shoes, toiletries and other items for them. On many of the trips, the host family members are able to attend as well. We believe that it is important for the children to meet regularly and mix with all of the host families past and present.

This link group came into being in May 1997 and has since then been able to offer the benefit of respite breaks to approaching 100 children from Belarus.

Some members of our link have also given assistance to Victor Mizzi, the national Chairman of the charity, with his aid missions to Belarus.

If you are interested in knowing more about our link then please contact our link chairman, Colin Williams, using any of the communication methods listed below.
