Bernie and Erica offer a warm invitation to visit The Salmon's Leap, a quiet family pub offering cask ales and the best in pub grub from bar snacks to a full a la carte evening menu.

We have very recently revamped our beer garden to include a fenced grassed area where kiddies can safely play with soft toys allowing Mum and Dad to have a peaceful drink or meal whilst being able to keep a watchful eye on the youngsters. We also do afternoon birthday parties for kiddies.

We are very proud of our cask ales, for which we have received many nice compliments and have recently increased the number of varieties available. We endeavour to present them in the best possible condition to titillate your taste buds. We offer a regularly changing selection of ales from around the country from breweries large and small, some well known, some not well known. You will find us in the good beer guide.

Our opening hours are Mon-Thursday 11.30am - 3.00pm and 5.00pm - 11.00pm, Friday - Sunday 11.30am -10.30pm. Meals served from 12pm -3pm, 6pm-8.30pm (last orders) in our non-smoking restaurant. Booking is advisable, but not essential. Also on Saturday evenings (weather permitting) we have a barbecue from 6pm until the food runs out.

We can offer a carvery for for parties of a dozen or more by prior arrangement.

Most Sundays we offer a traditional Sunday roast.

Outside we have a car park and a beer garden.

Situated less than 5 minutes walk from both the Cathedral and the river Severn with its delightful riverside walks.
