Leslie was born around 1945 and he is a Walpiri speaker who now lives at Mt Allan. His traditional country is Mt Wedge and Yuendumu and he paints Snake, Fire, Thunderstorm, Mt Wedge and Honey Ant Dreamings. He is married to Emily Napaltjarri whose family connections to the painting movement go back to the early 80's at Papunya.
