About us
Telford & The Wrekin Citizens Advice Bureau which covers the whole of the Telford & the Wrekin area, offers a general advice service for walk-in clients and appointments at its main office, Waterloo House, and operates a telephone advice service on 0845 146 1554.
Please note that this telephone line may not be answered during busy periods.
We also operate 6 outreach sessions across the Telford area.
We currently have 26 paid members of staff and 80 volunteers, with 12 interview rooms and disabled access for clients and staff at our Waterloo House Bureau.

Whoever you are, whatever the problem, the Citizens Advice service offers free practical, up-to-date information and advice on a wide range of topics, including; Debt, Benefits, Housing, Legal, Discrimination, Employment, Immigration, Consumer and other problems.
Our advice is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.

Volunteer
The majority of advisers are trained volunteers, helping the Citizens Advice service to resolve over 6 million new problems every year.
We couldn’t survive without our 21,000 fantastic volunteers, but we need around 5,000 more. We’re looking for all sorts of people with different backgrounds and skills to volunteer with us for a uniquely rewarding experience.

Citizens Advice service
There are 416 Citizens Advice Bureaux across England and Wales, all of which are members of Citizens Advice.
Together, we are the Citizens Advice service, and we help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.
