This local  wood, which is a SSSI, holds its annual nightingale
walks on Tuesday 1st May and Thursday 10th May, both starting at 8:00.

Local members of the Wildlife trust will lead guided walks through the woods
stopping at the known locations where nightingales can be heard singing.

Other members will be available to answer any questions
or just to meet you and explain what is going on locally.

Entrance is free but we do ask for a donation towards the upkeep
of this beautiful woodland.
