About
Me
I have an MA in
Archaeology
and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge where I specialised in
the archaeology of
the Neolithic and Bronze Age periods in Europe.
I have worked on
excavations
in several parts of the country, including a Roman villa in
Gloucestershire,
mediaeval and
post-mediaeval
sites in Warwick, a Neolithic causewayed camp in Dorset,
a Bronze Age village
on Dartmoor and a deserted mediaeval village near Bristol.
I have also undertaken postgraduate research on the Early Bronze Age graves of Wiltshire and Dorset.
I am currently carrying out research on the Scillonian entrance graves and cists for a PhD at the University of Exeter.

I moved to the Isles
of Scilly in 1999, having been a visitor here for a number of years
previously,
and started Scilly
Walks in 2000.
I lead guided walks,
boat trips and holidays and give slide shows about the archaeology
and history of Scilly as well as
carrying out archaeological fieldwork here.
