Between us we have three children who have reached maturity:
Sally Ann Stevens. The eldest was Katie's daughter. She lived most of her young life on or near Hayling Island, gained a HND at the Southampton Institute, and having travelled a little then lived in various towns in Hampshire and Surrey. She died at the age of 31, in unfortunate circumstances in Guildford on the 10th March 1999. May she rest in Peace!
Cyrena is John's eldest daughter . Again was brought
up mainly on Hayling, became a chef at the Post Houst, North Hayling, where
she met her future husband, Armin Waldkoetter, who is also a chef. After
a period at the Post House, Heathrow, they moved to Köln and both worked
at the Hotel Maritime. They married some years ago and here
is a wedding photo with sister and proud Dad.
Cy and Armin came back to England and for some years ran an excellent restaurant
'The Admiral's Table' in
Bognor Regis. At the moment they are replanning their future.
Cy has a daughter Jynx born in August 2005. We will post photos soon..
Thea is John's second daughter. After doing a HND at Southampton in Media and Business Studies, she worked for a while in France during the winter seasons. She became interested in Sport Massage and then took a degree in Physiotherapy at Southampton University which she completed in June 1999, gaining a 2.1. She is now working at the Portsmouth Hospital Trust. She and her partner, Michael, are now renovating their third house in Northney, Hayling. They have two children, Jessica and William.
