- July 19 1988 - Won the All Japan Junior title from Miori Kamiya (Cooga). Title vacated.
- June 14 1989 - With Etsuko Mita, as 'Dream Orca' won the All Japan Tag team titles from Rebun Amada & Miori Kamiya (Cooga). Titles vacated in March 1990 when Yamada is injured.
- January 19 1992 - Wins the new UWA Tag Team titles with Manami Toyota, defeating Lady Apache and KAORU. Titles vacated in 1993.
- March 20 1992 - Won the WWWA World tag team titles with Manami Toyota from Bison Kimura and Aja Kong. Lost them on April 11 1993 to Mayumi Ozaki and Dynamite Kansai.
- November 28 1993 - Won the All Pacific title defeating Manami Toyota. Lost it on March 27 1994 to Kyoko Inoue.
- December 6 1993 - Won the WWWA World tag team titles with Manami Toyota from Mayumi Ozaki and Dynamite Kansai. Lost them on October 9 1994 to Kyoko Inoue and Takako Inoue.

Best Moves
- Gory Special - A suplex variation that is very hard to describe. She holds the opponents arms behind her, (The opponent is bending over at the time), turns around and lifts them over her head, dropping back into a pinning combination.
Other Notes
- One of the first wrestlers to leave AJW after their financial problems last year. Yamada now works for GAEA.
- Manami Toyota vs. Toshiyo Yamada on December 9 was named as the AJW 1989 Match of the Year.
