I am trying to work people into my photos. Here is an attempt.

John Hackett I like the idea. The photographer has been positioned in just the right place. Looking at the angle of the camera it is pointing to somthing off to the right which adds a touch of mystery. Marti Buckely The idea is good but I feel the person is too centered and detracts from the grand scene. Also, he (or she) is very static - not looking through the viewfinder but just having the camera as a prop. In my mind, I see this scene as having the photographer standing to the left, looking as though he is composing a picture with the main focus being on the scenery itself. This would require a little different angle for the shot. While you can't do much about natural formations, the entire picture seems to slope off to the left. Cropping the sky out might not work as you would have to take off too much of the canyon tops I think. Pat Gordy Putting the photographer in the image, really changes how the viewer feels about the image. For those that have been there, we know that she is probably thinking, I cant possibly get all of this in my camera like I see it, as she takes in the awesome sight. Good job, Stan! Larry Durbin John Parker A nice job of incorporating people into an image. The woman adds a sense of depth & perspective to the image as well as adding a touch of bright colour. The shot is nicely composed. Bob Athanasiou Stan, this photo doesn't do it for me. The horizon line seems tilted, the photographer is cut of below the shoulders, the lighting is too soft and it lacks contrast and color depth. I think it was the wrong time of the day to try to get this shot.
