Harry proposes to re-commence a New Series of the M.S.S. Magazine which was published at Liverpool when we were all there, but to bring it out in Worcester; agreed to do so provided we can get contributors sufficient.-

Sent Harry samples of Paper for the new MSS mag Pens, Ink & Paper; I began an article on Amateur Theatricals but have but little time to give to it & can't get on with it.

Wrote a letter of great length to William Dewse last night on the "Pen Ink and Paper" & the delay of the 1st No., on his contribution & suggesting alterations & recommending him to condense,
talk about the forthcoming No. of the P I & P, now 10 days behind in time;
Indoors in the evening; writing at an article for our forthcoming No. of the "Pens Ink & Paper!"
Wrote to Charlie Cox on the P I and P, correcting an error of his in a quotation from my last; sent him 1/2 quire of paper63 for his article for the mag. I promised to write again speedily as to the topic of his last which I had left at the office.-
Harry came from Fred & wanted contributions to the Mag.
On Sunday morning I had a letter from Bellerby enclosing a beautifully artistic heading to my contribution for the PI&P-
At Ludlow I had received a letter from Charley Cox, pointing out Ludlow's notabilities; promising his contribution for the 1st & promising to take charge of the 2nd ban thing of the P I & P, if it can be done at no cost!

afterwards copied out article for the "Pen Ink & Paper" Clerk's Elysium with Bellerby's beautiful & tasteful heading which he had sent me for it.
Harry has now got all the contributions in for the Pen Ink & Paper & it only requires a small effort on his part to get it out.
got the 1st No. of the Pens, Ink & Paper out at last! Called at Mr. Barnesleys & found CG there; read Charley's article there "Schools Wanted" that is for "fast" men to become a little slower & safer, also a "Mad Poem" the authorship of which we can't distinctly fasten on anyone.-
Wrote a long letter (about 20 pages) to William Dewse on his last letter, on the progress of Pen Ink & Paper! urging him for a 2nd article for no. 2;
