FELLOW EMPLOYEES OF CHARLES WALKER
AND OTHER PERSONS LISTED IN THE DIARY

Boss- Mr. E.H. Needham- Charles later becomes a partner with Mr. Needham in the business. This doesn't take place until after 1860 because at that time the business is still listed as Needham, Francis Haywod, Carrier and Coal Merchant.

Mr. Needham's Employees-

• Charles Cale, and his wife (When Charles Walker finally retired in about 1901, his firm was taken over by Messrs. Cornforth and Cale. I should think that the Cale was either this man or his son.)

• Bishop, the watchman

• Frank Flinn, who resigns in May

• John or Ino Fullwell

• Harry Kemble

• Harry Jardoor

• Joseph Butters

• John Sayer

Pickford's Employees- • Mr. Taylor- Thomas Taylor was listed as Agent for Pickfords in 1860

• Mr.Bass-W. Bass is listed as Pickford's Agent in 1841. Charles dealt with Mr. Bass in getting his cousin employed by Pickfords. I also think it likely that Mr. Bass was Mr. Needham's father-in-law. Mr. Needham's son is called Willian Bass Needham.

• Drayton- who quits or gets fired
