In the following few pages we will tell you a little about our veterinary practice, our services and our staff.

Here at PAWS we are a truly "mixed", single site veterinary practice, caring for the whole spectrum of animal health from companion animals to farm livestock and horses.

We are an RCVS acredited Tier 2 practice for small animal, equine and farm work.

We currently have 9 veterinary surgeons, 7 qualified veterinary nurses, 2 nursing auxiliaries, 7 receptionists, 1 farm receptionist, 1 accounts manager and a practice manager!

Each of our veterinary surgeons has a particular interest whether it be a particular species, e.g. rabbits, cattle, horses or a particular discipline of veterinary medicine, e.g. radiography, anaesthesia, orthopaedics or medicine. With such a broad knowledge base we are well suited and equiped to be able to help with all your veterinary needs.

As part of our aims to seek to provide and promote the highest standards of veterinary excellence, the practice has recently become a member of the XLVet group of veterinary practices.

Like human medicine, veterinary medicine advances each year. Our practice is committed to ensuring that all of our clinical staff (vets and nurses) are aware of the most recent developments in veterinary medicine and surgery by spending a minimum period of their time each year attending courses to provide you with the most up to date information and care as is possible for your pets, farm animals and horses.
