Rainforest Cafe

Quality:

Ambience:

Cost: £££

Location: Disney Village

Our rating: Expensive - possibly a little scary for very young children and the food's nothing to write home about.

Best time to eat: Before 12 and after 3.00pm. Avoid 8.30pm onwards. -

Seating: A large, well planned seating area amidst a tropical rainforest which is pretty realistic.

We waited a long time for this to arrive in DLP but we're not overwhelmed. The setting is very good, the place is surrounded by animatronic creatures (mainly gorillas) galore plus an accompanying sound track throughout your meal which provides a tropical thunderstorm, complete with thunder and lightning, about every twenty minutes. The waiters are extremely well versed in several languages and there's the inevitable shop selling all manner of rainforest souvenirs. However, we just didn't find the food that good. Others rave about the place, however, so we'll it to you to decide. Please let us know.
