This cafe is a reconstruction (what our American cousins call 'a makeover') of the Los Angeles BA and Grill, a place clearly run by direct descendant of the Marquis de Sade and where eating your own hands would have been marginally more pleasant.
Initial reviews of the restaurant would seem to indicate that only the name has changed - not the quality. When run as the LA Bar and grill, it was truly abysmal, and the new management appears to be trying to live down to that reputation.
