There was a time when Dalek Rolykins could be bought in almost any high street store. Now they are harder to find. I had a Rolykin (in fact I still do have it) that I had found in a jumble sale when I was about 4 years old. It had no arms and eye but I treasured it. I made some appendages out of matchsticks and kept it safe in a small home-made box. One day my brother accidentally broke off one of the arms and helpfully tried to fix it for me with polystyrene cement. Unfortunately this caused the small plastic toy to self destruct and melt, gunging the ball bearing up with molten plastic and giving the Dalek a distinctly slumped look. I never forgave my brother for that.
