Dawn to Dusk Carers

Dawn to Dusk is a self support group which offers refreshments and therapeutic activities for carers, providing a two hour respite from their caring duties and an opportunity to form friendships with other carers who understand the difficulties faced everyday and the feeling of despair we all have at times caring for family or friends.

Sessions restart on 24 May 2012 with Extend Exercise from 1130 to 1330.

In September - November we are hoping to run a basic First Aid course (no exams) and different activities are planned for 2013.

Dawn to Dusk also meet for lunches and coffee mornings between the planned activities to keep in touch with each other.

Zumba Classes

Dance based fitness classes on Tuesdays from 0930 to 1030 and, for the older participant, from 1030 to 1130.

Come and join the zumba party - a Latin based fitness class suitable for all levels of fitness, age and body shape.  The emphasis is on having fun and enjoying yourself, as there are no rights and wrongs with this class.  No experience of dance or fitness is required so just turn up and join in the party.  Michele has been in the fitness industry for 15 years and loves teaching zumba. You're guaranteed to leave smiling and laughing, as well as having a good workout.

Classes are £5 and just turn up and pay at the door. Please wear suitable clothing, i.e. leggings and trainers and perhaps bring a bottle of water and small towel.
