This page contains information on the following facilities at the Hall:

Main Hall

• Access:
  • Main - single step up from the car park to main double doors at the front of the Hall
  • Side - level access through the single door to the side of the Hall nearest to the play area
  • Rear - single step up to conservatory double doors at the rear of the Hall
• Floor area: rectangular in shape and approximately 8 yards by 15 yards or 1,080 square feet;
• Ceiling height: 12 foot from the floor; there are 2 ceiling fans which hang down 1’4” from the ceiling;
• Chairs:
  • 102 easy-wipe plastic chairs
  • 12 blue-coloured fabric-covered cushioned chairs in the conservatory
• Tables (measurements in millimetres):
  • 20 @ 120*60*70 (stackable NB: put two together to form a square around which you can comfortably arrange 8 chairs)
  • 3 @ 92*76*70 (folding)
  • 2 @ 183*76*70 (folding)
  • 1 @ 152*76*70 (folding)
• 2 fire extinguishers
• 6 dimmable up-lighters on the walls
• 8 dimmable lights in the ceiling

• Dual-fuel range-style cooker (5 gas hobs & fan-assisted electric oven)
• Domestic-scale microwave cooker
• Two electric kettles
• Domestic-scale larder fridge (NB: there is NO freezer box)
• Commercial glass washer (NB: this is NOT a dishwasher - maximum wash cycle is three (3) minutes)
• Double sink & drainer
• Unlimited hot water from our gas-fired combination boiler
• Large hatch which opens to the main Hall
• Fire extinguisher
• Fire blanket

• Separate Male & Female toilets located near the main door
• Separate toilet for disabled guests located in the Main Hall

• Separate toilet for disabled guests located in the main Hall
• Induction loop
• Level-access though single door to the play-area side of the Hall

• Off-street parking for cars in 26 marked bays

• The children’s play area and grass to the side of the Hall and the field to the rear of the Hall are public spaces owned by Colney Heath Parish Council.  Hirers of the Hall and their guests are welcome to use these public spaces during a booking at the Hall but they do not have exclusive rights to them.

• The brick-built barbeque to the rear of the Hall is not included in the facilities hired when making a booking at the Hall.
