I am responsible for a fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles ranging from 7.5 tonnes to 38 tonnes. Operating a general haulage service covering the UK and Ireland..

Born in Oban, Argyll on the West Coast of Scotland. I now live in County Durham approximately 10 miles south west of Newcastle. I have a sister and brother who are both married with children.

I am interested in driving and transport in general and hope to get the time to complete the Institute of Advanced Motoring driving test. First for cars and hopefully later for goods vehicles.

I am trying my best to improve my limited knowledge in computers, as they are an increasing part of my work and also to use them for recreational purposes (mind you the frustration felt when things don't go as planned isn't very relaxing).

I would like to "build" a Web page as fantastic and technically brilliant as some I have seen, but I that is currently well beyond me! (Watch this space though I'll get there eventually)

Due to pressure of work I no longer have my own horses but I enjoy helping friends with theirs, both riding and driving horses. I used to hold a licence to drive under British Harness Racing Club rules, which is an up and coming and exciting sport in this country.

I enjoy watching football and support Newcastle United (who else) and I hope they can improve a bit on last season.
