Dog Trainer and Behaviour Consultant

Training your dog can be a very rewarding experience for you and your dog, or it can be a nightmare.
At our club we strive to give dog and owner a closer understanding of each other. This will result in a strong bond developing, and a more contented relationship.
There is no formal "line training" or strict obedience.
If you can understand the reasons why a dog pulls on the lead, chews furniture, doesn't come back when called, jumps up on you and your best chair, then that unwanted behaviour can be remedied.
Training classes are for dogs that do not display "problem behaviours" i.e.
Continual barking, aggression to other dogs, or people, these problems are best rectified before coming to class.
A troublesome dog will always disrupt the learning ability of other dogs in the class.
One to one sessions with problem dogs are always to be preferred.
Before you go to training classes try and think what you want your dog to be.
A pet dog or an agility dog or a show dog, or anything else you can think of..
If you have a clear picture of the end result of training then your dog will also
be quicker to learn.
In training remember, consistency, kindness, and lack of aggression, makes a dog eager to learn and please.
