Some of my own poetry

200 words of any meaning

I must write to find a tongue, to find a way to find say these thoughts,
That if I keep, I keep too long, to long to say when time has gone,
For time must come with quickened pace,

I must see to find a sight, to find a way to see the world,
That if I look, with Gorgon's gaze, I look too long and fix the world,
Within my sight and stone becomes the world to me.
That if I look, without my eyes, I look too short and leave the world,
Without which life and breath become no more to me.
For life must come with loving grace.

I must write to find a tongue, to find a way to speak the world,
That if I speak, and do not hear, I speak too long and bind myself,
Within my words, and never speaks the world to me.
That if I hear, and do not speak, I hear too long and gag myself,
Without your words, too never find the words to speak.
For words must come or leave no trace.

I must speak to find a tongue, to find a way the see the world,
That if I speak, I hear the words, of other voices in return,
For others give the world a face.
