Some of my other pages have had more diagrams in them recently. Its not easy translating maths into text.

• I get bored waiting for graphics to download so I usually don't "Auto Load Images".
• My sister works for the RNIB (Royal National Institute for the Blind). I didn't know that Blind people could use the Internet. Apparently you can get reader programs that convert text into the spoken word or into Braille. These readers can be tempermental and don't like things like frames.

  (See also.. WAI Accessibility Guidelines: Page Authoring, part of Devon's Intracom project.) A picture may be equivalent to ten thousand words but it's worth nothing if you can't translate it.
  Having said that, I will be putting some pictures of the coast around 'Combe onto my pages. I might also record some sounds of the sea and storms and wind and Jackdaws ... (when I get around to it)

• Just remembered. For those of you with text only browsers. There are still parts of the world that don't get Pentium II's for Christmas. Poor, benighted lives they must lead (irony).
  I think that the internet should be used for communication. I know that very few people have internet connections, how many of them have the latest computers?
