| There are over thirty of us who
originally met each other on the Freaks list. We live all over the UK, from Scotland to
London and beyond but that hasn't stopped us meeting up on many occasions at Fish and
Marillion gigs and we often meet up in the real for other gigs, pre-gig meets and just
about any other excuse we can use for a beer or two in great company. Last October, we had a party in aid of "The Villas" Short Stay Respite Care Unit, part of the Children's Centre of Nottingham City Hospital, and raised £1650 with the help of many Freaks and friends. Maybe you were there. Maybe you bought some tickets. I'd tell you about it but Zander tells a story so much better. We asked a couple of the lads from Marillion to present the cheque to the charity before their gig at Nottingham Rock City in Nov '98. Here are some pictures of that and other get togethers. |
