OK: for those of you who are really into this sort of thing, here is what I'm
using to create and maintain this colourful but tacky site.
PC:
Dell Inspiron 3800 notebook - a blue one to match the site's background. 64Mb
memory, 10Gb hard drive, floppy, CD-ROM, Xircom modem.
Digital
camera: Kodak DC280. 2.0 megapixels, 2x optical zoom, 3x digital
zoom. A great little toy.
Web
design: Microsoft FrontPage 2000, using the 'Downtown' theme. This is
the first web site I've created, so not much to compare against (except CoolPage
which I played with and rejected). It seems to do the job and hasn't crashed
yet, which has to be a first for a Microsoft product.
Image
manipulation: JASC Paint Shop Pro V4. I believe it's up to V7 now (in
Beta at any rate), but those new facilities I don't know about I won't miss.
ISP:
Which Online, who are generally OK but don't yet support FrontPage Server
Extensions (subtle hint here).
If you've read down this far: hope it was interesting, but you really ought
to get out more ...
