Married on 16.10.1823 to Rebecca LAWSON (nee OGDEN) (8.10.1794-25.12.1877).
They had 10 children. Among them were:
Elizabeth (5.12.1828-14.12.1886), who married William HEARNSHAW on 31.1.1850,
the first of several marriages between the HEARNSHAWS and the DONINGTONS. They
were a prominent Methodist family, known to the HEARNSHAWS through the church:
probably when the Rev. John HEARNSHAW was working in the Spalding circuit from 1842-1844.
Robert (7.8.1832-5.9.1895), who built up a chemist's business in Spalding.
The photograph is labelled `Mr DONINGTON': probably taken about 1870. It is probably of Robert.

Chemist. Later Councillor, and partner with John William HEARNSHAW
