Conductor
Anne McDonald was born in Cleethorpes and studied at the Birmingham School of Music, where she studied singing,
viola, piano and conducting. There she gained her
ARCM and ABSM diplomas.Miss
McDonald has had numerous professional engagements as a
soloist, with performances in cathedrals and on radio.
She has performed in the Royal Albert Hall and the
Festival Hall, and has also toured Europe.
Before becoming conductor of the
Peterborough Choral Society, Miss McDonald conducted and
trained numerous other choirs, some of which performed
under the baton of Sir David Willcocks, Sir Charles
Groves and Dr Donald Hunt. |
