| The side's main event is the Yorkshire Dales
Tour which has been held annually at Spring Bank Holiday (formerly Whitsun)
since 1952 and has therefore become a tradition in its own right. The Monday
morning 10am show in Kettlewell is a highlight, and is normally attended
by an audience of hundreds. In 2002 we celebrated the 50th Dales
Tour on the Queen's Jubilee weekend..
Apart from our regular weekly summer Thursday performances, we
normally have two annual tours in the Leeds area, the Horsforth Mile on
the afternoon of the Saturday after May Day and the Leeds Parks tour,
held on August Bank Holiday Monday (the last Monday in the month).
Leeds Morris Men will be appearing as guests at a number
of sides' weekends of dance and other events during the year They
also often perform a Mummer's play at Christmas and are regular contributors
to Whitby Folk Festival in August.
