HabitatA tidal basin with extensive mud, sand and shingle flats. Surrounded by farmland with reedbeds, marshland and scrub mostly at the west end by the river South Esk. A SSSI, Ramsar and SPA.

Opening TimesHides open all year. Wildlife Centre all year (except Christmas Day and New Year's Day) 10:30 to 4:00 (Oct-Easter) and 10:30 to 5:00 (Easter - September).
