Before leaving the town make sure you have collected all the objects, including the bullet. To leave the town use the object in the cage as a musical instrument to summon aid once you are over the fence. Once over the fence, search for a means of passing the fence gate. Search all locations, especially the high hill. Check out the hut before stepping in the pit. Beware of gnomes. The gardener will help with some entrance problems. To cross water, try to bag the swimmer then make haste. Rubber stops cuts. The hedge is shear trouble to pass. Take the fast route from the Manor. Digging in the garden is a kind act. Food can be plentiful at the start but sadly missing later on. Best bet is to save it and carry it nearer the Manor. Move little at night. Shut all doors and gates behind you (or you'll lose the policeman).
